Here's the final version of Rebellion, one of Dante's swords from the Devil May Cry series.
Hand carved/sanded from MDF using a dremel and a palm sander. Took about 3-4 weekends to finish working for a few hours a day.
Since it's being used at PAX Prime in another day I didn't get the chance to smooth out the hilt as much as I wanted - but I think it turned out okay.
This was my first time carving something rather than just using machined cuts. Sure takes some getting used to.
